“Collaborating with OMEGA is a perfect and well-timed match. They consistently push the boundaries and set new standards - the same things I demand from myself.”
Born in Long Island (NY) and raised in Georgia, Christian Taylor is a triple jump star, whose personal best jump of 18.21m ranks 2nd on the all-time list. After establishing himself at youth level, Taylor achieved a triple jump win at the 2011 World Championships, upsetting the field with the tenth best jump in history, and becoming the youngest ever World Champion in his discipline.
As a member of the 2012 United States Olympic team, he won gold at London 2012 aged just 22, becoming the youngest Olympic champion in the Triple Jump for over 100 years. Just three years later in 2015, Christian claimed his second world championship title with that incredible jump of 18.21m.
After successive wins at the Olympic Games and the World Championships in 2016, 2017 and 2019, he announced the formation of "The Athletics Association," an organisation of professional track and field athletes around the world, advocating for athletes’ rights.
“Although I’m a jumper, speed and timing are crucial to my success. So just like OMEGA, I have always been committed to innovation and quality in those respects.”
