Loved on Earth and beyond, the Speedmaster Moonwatch remains a true icon in the world of watchmaking. For its most recent update, the legendary chronograph has been inspired by its own historical design, while the Master Chronometer certification provides even more reliability and excellence.
The watch features an asymmetrical 42 mm case in stainless steel – and is built in the classic 4th generation style that was worn by Apollo 11 astronauts during history’s first moon landing. Choose it with hesalite glass with an embossed Seahorse caseback, or the model with sapphire-crystal glass on both sides.
“The 4th generation Speedmaster – reference ST 105.012 - is famed as one of the watches worn on the Moon.”

The Crew of Four
There are four eye-catching models in steel that make up the Speedmaster Moonwatch Master Chronometer collection. The hesalite glass models can be chosen on a nylon fabric strap, or a fully-brushed stainless steel bracelet. The sapphire crystal models can be selected on a leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet with polished and brushed links.
Discover this rare Moonwatch choice, inspired by the colours of astronaut spacesuits. Along with contrasting black details and a Speedmaster name in red, the entire surface features a glossy lacquered finish – the first time ever on the Moonwatch’s step dial.
“With Master Chronometer certification, the most serious upgrade to the Moonwatch movement has arrived.”
MovementCalibre OMEGA 3861
It took 4 years to produce a calibre that could achieve Master Chronometer certification, while also matching the dimensions of the previous Moonwatch movement - the 1861. The new calibre has done exactly that, while improving the power reserve, chronometric performance and magnetic resistance.
