Seamaster Aqua Terra Small Seconds

In keeping with the adventurous spirit of those who love to wear the watch, OMEGA’s Aqua Terra continues to venture into bold new territory, with the introduction of a subdial at 6 o’clock. With classic and luxury models in both 38 mm and 41 mm, the Small Seconds editions are a worthy addition to OMEGA’s world famous collection.

The Small Seconds function

The standout feature on all of the new Aqua Terra models is the small seconds subdial, located at 6 o’clock and encircled in a material that complements the central hour and minute hands. There are many kinds of applied subdial rings from rhodium-plated to 18K Sedna™ gold. Some are even set with diamonds.

Stylish dials

  • Teak pattern

OMEGA’s 41 mm editions feature 2-tone dials in beautifully contrasting colours with Aqua Terra’s popular horizontal teak-pattern. Marking the hours are rhodium-plated, blued, blackened or 18K Sedna™ gold indexes.

  • Ocean inspired

On the 38 mm models, boat hull-shaped indexes with iridescent mother-of-pearl inlay reflect Aqua Terra’s ocean spirit. Providing calm seas for the yachts to sail on are captivating dials in sun-brushed shades.

  • Incremental

To add extra sparkle and visual interest to the 38 mm watches, OMEGA has produced a selection of dials with diamond hour markers set in 18K Sedna™ gold or rhodium-plated holders, arranged incrementally from 12 to 6 o’clock.

The calibres

There are four mighty movements driving the Small Seconds watches, all tested at the industry’s highest level. OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8802 for the sportier 38 mm watches and the 8916 for the 41 mm editions. The all gold watches draw their power from luxury versions of the calibres (8803/8917), each distinguished by an 18K Sedna™ gold rotor and balance-bridge.
