OMEGA is proud to include the Swiss Made mark on all of its watches. This simple wording guarantees a standard of quality established over many centuries and is a world-renowned symbol of excellence.
Taking inspiration from the very first Speedmaster CK2915-1 from 1957, this unique 38.6 mm model has been crafted in 18K Canopus Gold™ and features a deep black onyx dial with an applied vintage OMEGA logo and typography featuring the "oval O" (typical for the first CK2915 models). There are also 18K white gold hands/indexes with a Canopus Gold™ PVD treatment and three subdials including a small seconds display, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder, along with the central chronograph function.
The tachymeter scale on the bezel is filled with black enamel and if you look closely, you'll also see the famous dot over ninety (DON) and a dot diagonal to seventy.
On the caseback, you’ll find a Seahorse design engraved inside the sapphire crystal glass. To mark the Speedmaster’s 65th anniversary, a blue sapphire is used for the eye. Behind the Seahorse is a clear view of the incredible Calibre 321 – famous for its history of space exploration. The crown features the NAIAD symbol, also specific to some of the first CK2915 models.
The watch is set on an 18K Canopus Gold™ bracelet with a comfort release adjustment system, and is presented in a special 65th anniversary wooden box made of tulip tree (a Rosewood lookalike) which is inspired by the shape and design of the original Speedmaster boxes.
Chronograph
The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A chronograph watch can therefore be used to time events while displaying the time like any traditional watch.
Small seconds
A hand on a sub-dial which tracks seconds typically it completes a full rotation in one minute.
Tachymeter
A tachymeter watch has a function for measuring speed. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read in kilometres per hour based on a 1000 metre distance.
Transparent caseback
A transparent caseback - frequently made of sapphire - makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.

Canopus GoldTM
OMEGA has been using the exclusive Canopus GoldTM, an 18K white gold alloy, since 2015. As well as being 100% noble, it bears all the standard characteristics of other 18K golds, while also distinguishing itself for its high brilliance, whiteness and longevity, making it an ideal material for high-end or diamond set timepieces. The alloy is named after the bright star Canopus, which is 71 times bigger and 10’000 times brighter than our sun. Due to its brilliance and position, Canopus became an important reference point for many space agencies. Its unique composition includes platinum, rhodium and palladium for colour and stability.

White Gold
Gold in its pure form (24K) is slightly reddish yellow and very soft. It is usually alloyed with other base metals for a diverse variety of uses. Considered to be the premium standard in watch and jewellery making, 18K gold(with at least 75% pure gold) provides the ultimate balance between purity and usefulness. Traditional 18K white gold is alloyed with palladium-copper and offers an excellent resistance to corrosion, while being highly bio-chemically inert. It provides a beautiful hue that suits wearers even with sensitive skin.

Sapphire Crystal
To really appreciate the finer details of a timepiece, OMEGA uses synthetic sapphire crystal with a highly scratch-resistant and anti-reflective treatment. Before the machining and finishing processes take place, the sapphire crystals are produced under the Verneuil process, also called flame fusion. It involves the melting of the raw substance using oxyhydrogen flame and the crystallisation of the melted droplets to form a cylinder. Graded 9 on the Mohs-hardness scale (graded 1-10), the resulting sapphire crystals are virtually scratch-proof and very hard, ensuring an unhindered vision at all times.
