“We send our sincere congratulations to Thriston Lawrence. It is always so special to feel the tradition and Swiss culture of this tournament, but of course, the golf is always the biggest highlight. His worthy win has now become a part of Crans-Montana’s illustrious history.”
Amongst the talented players on the spectacular mountain fairways this year were some of OMEGA’s own golfing friends, including Guido Migliozzi, Sean Crocker, Nicolai Hojgaard and Rasmus Hojgaard – who won the tournament last year.
Originally called the Swiss Open when it was first played in 1923, this high-altitude competition has remained at the same venue since 1939, making it the oldest golf tournament in Europe to be played on the same course every year. OMEGA claimed the naming rights in 2001.
