OMEGA ambassador, Chad le Clos, has completed a truly excellent year of swimming by winning four medals at the 14th FINA World Swimming Championships in Hangzhou, China. They included gold in the 100m Butterfly, silver in the 200m butterfly and 50m butterfly, and bronze in the 100m freestyle.
Chad’s winning week then got even better when he was named the FINA Best Male Swimmer of the Year. This is his second time collecting the illustrious prize and proves yet again what a talent he is in the pool.
During his stay in China, the swimmer also found time to visit the OMEGA Boutique in Hangzhou, where he met with OMEGA staff and posed for photographs alongside his favourite timepieces.
As well as having its own ambassador competing in Hangzhou, OMEGA was positioned as the Official Timekeeper of the FINA World Swimming Championships. The brand had the pleasure of timing every performance and recording every incredible achievement in the pool.
