Planet OMEGA in New York

The story of OMEGA has gone on display at a special exhibition at the Chelsea Factory in New York City. Planet OMEGA showcases many of the most innovative timepieces and memorable partnerships that make our brand so renowned across the world.

Within the spacious location, the Planet OMEGA exhibition has been split into six distinctive areas, each connected to the rich DNA of the company. Within each area, a different selection of timepieces is presented, allowing visitors to understand the unique designs that set OMEGA watchmaking apart.

The Space section celebrates OMEGA’s critical role in some of history’s greatest explorations, including the first lunar landing in 1969. On display is the very latest Speedmaster Moonwatch as well as "the first OMEGA in Space" – as worn by astronaut Wally Schirra.
Bond area exhibition
The James Bond section is dedicated to the world’s favourite spy – who has worn an OMEGA in every film since 1995. Watches on display include the genuine Seamaster Diver 300M worn by Daniel Craig in No Time To Die, as well as many other film and tribute models.

Other sections to discover include Sports and Olympic Games, celebrating OMEGA’s proud legacy of Official Timekeeping; Ocean, which looks deep into OMEGA’s diving expertise and sea-inspired designs. Friends, which reveals the timepiece styles chosen by OMEGA’s family of brand ambassadors; and Precision, detailing a legacy of ground-breaking innovation and achievements in the field of accuracy.

JFK watch
Some of the vintage highlights to see up close include the OMEGA wristwatch worn by Elvis Presley. Featuring 44 brilliant-cut diamonds, it is certainly a timepiece fit for a king. For history fans, there’s also the OMEGA Slimline timepiece worn by John F. Kennedy at his presidential Inauguration Ceremony in 1961.
