Following the launch of the Seamaster Planet Ocean redesign in 2025, OMEGA has brought the celebrations to London, hosting a special event alongside brand ambassador, Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

The Planet Ocean event was hosted at the Tate Modern, a setting renowned for its own avant-garde artistry and bold creativity. Other notable attendees on the night included the French actor and OMEGA Friend of the Brand, Pierre Niney; as well as the British actors, Connor Swindells, Tom Blyth, Jonah Hauer-King, and Charlie Rowe.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is a long-time Seamaster fan. The collection runs in his family, having been worn by his father, and it’s only natural that Aaron should now come to represent a new Seamaster generation through the Planet Ocean redesign. By fronting the global campaign alongside Glen Powell, Aaron has become the perfect leading man to define the collection’s stylish versatility and action-ready performance.

Planet Ocean Arrives in London
The new watches were on display within the Tanks – a permanent gallery of huge circular spaces. OMEGA transformed the space into its own marine world of ambient lighting and projections, signifying the call of the sea and the Planet Ocean’s origins as a diving collection.

Seamaster Planet Ocean Collection

Launched 20 years after the first Planet Ocean, the latest 4th generation models deliver a complete transformation for the modern era. Models are available in seven versions. Options include blue, black, or orange choices, paired with either rubber straps or stainless steel bracelets.
